Friends of Joe’s is a local community effort to give back to Joe LaValley, our neighbor and friend, who was struck with cancer. You too can help.

• As of Feb. 27, 2015, Joe appears free of cancer and is in full remission.

Joe lives in Lake Country, Wisconsin. He has nine-year-old twins, Timmy and Jessica.

Timmy and Jessica are busy kids. They are in practically every sport or after-school activity there is. And Joe is a busy Dad: for each sport the twins are in, he is also a coach, a team manager, or both. He is a Boy Scouts troop leader. He is a tournament organizer, and a volunteer ref. In fact, whenever there has been a need for time or money in the community, Joe has always been there.

Joe was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in January 2014. He had to stop working in March, and has been undergoing both surgery and chemo since. With bills mounting quickly, it is his turn to need help from the community to stay afloat. Please help him and join Friends of Joe’s!
